Rule 25
Provisions related to reports and details
: (1) The Ministry shall publish a national report every five years on the situation of climate change, its effects and risks. (2) The concerned ministry shall provide the relevant information and data to the ministry for the preparation of the national report as per sub-rule (1).
(3) Department of Water and Meteorology shall publish a report on climate change scenario based on climatic components including temperature, rainfall and water flow - every five years.
(4) On the basis of the report according to sub-rule (1) and (3), the Government of Nepal, the provincial government or the local level can formulate and prioritize a plan related to climate change management.
(5) Climate: If it is related to adaptation, the local level should provide the annual progress report to the relevant ministry of the province and the relevant ministry of the province to the ministry.
(6). Organizations other than government agencies should prepare an annual statement of the work done in the field of climate change and provide it to the ministry through the relevant ministry of the province.
